If your child isn’t ready for treatment, we’ll never force it, prioritizing their comfort and trust above all.

Protecting Senior Oral Health
Regular dental visits are an opportunity to take preventive steps to keep your teeth healthy.
- Fluoride Treatments: Dr. Hagan may recommend fluoride to strengthen your teeth and prevent decay.
- Dental Sealants: Molars and pre-molars have grooves that can trap bacteria, making them harder to clean. Sealants are a protective coating applied to the tooth’s surface to block out bacteria and reduce the risk of cavities.

Your First Visit
The first dental visit is an exciting milestone. We recommend coming in for regular cleaning to help build off good habits. Consistent visits allow Dr. Hagan to monitor your oral health and continued development to ensure everything is progressing as it should to have the best oral health.
For children at this stage, treatment is typically unnecessary, so we focus on educating parents. We’ll provide guidance on age-appropriate oral hygiene and address common concerns like thumb-sucking and bottle habits. Early visits also establish the importance of baby teeth, which hold space for permanent teeth. Losing a baby tooth too early can lead to future orthodontic or oral health problems.
